Transaero Airlines has introduced a new special livery to the public this week at Moscow Vnukovo airport . They have painted a huge Amur Tiger Face on the front of one of their Boeing 747 aircraft’s to highlight that fact the Amur Tiger is close to extinction and to educate the world on current conservation projects that are in place to try and save these beautiful and majestic creatures.

Looks super cool from the front, a bit weird from the side….but I still  love it.

The Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica), also known as the Amur tiger is mainly found in Far East Russia. 10 years ago there was between 331–393 adults left in the wild. Recent census figures released this year show that number (mainly due to conservation efforts) has increased to 480–540, including 100 cubs.
